TITLE: Student Kitchen Warehouse Helper
REPORTS TO: Food Service Supervisor
LENGTH OF YEAR: School Year
Purpose: The Student Kitchen Warehouse Helper will assist the kitchen staff in a variety of ways which will allow the kitchen staff to prepare meals for our students.

Expected Results:

The Student Kitchen Warehouse Helper will assist the kitchen staff by::
-
Reading individual school grocery list needs, finding the correct products, labeling the products for the appropriate school, and placing the products on a cart for delivery.

Assisting with moving new stock onto the shelves.
-
Reorganizing the shelves for new deliveries to make room for new products.

The Student Kitchen Warehouse Helper will possess the following minimum qualities, qualifications, skills, and/or abilities:

Be able to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively during the course of the shift

Be able to work unsupervised once trained

A clear communicator in both oral and written language.

Proven people skills and is an effective communicator with a sense of humor.

Works collaboratively with other peers, event leaders, and teachers/mentors.

Evidence of an open, collaborative style that fosters a sense of teamwork and common purpose.

Possess the proper technical training for the position.

Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

Will be positive, approachable, and respectful of others.

Knowledgeable of local high school sports.
Evaluation:
The Student Kitchen Warehouse Helper will be evaluated by the Food Service Supervisor.
