TITLE: Substitute Food Service Helper
REPORTS TO: Building Administrator, District Administrator, or Department Supervisor/Director
This is a per diem, as needed postition.
Purpose: The Substitute Food Service Helper will have the primary responsibility of performing under the immediate supervision of a Cook, Dietetic Technician, or Food Service Supervisor, on a per diem basis, in connection with the preparation of food, service of food, and cleaning of kitchen equipment. The Substitute Food Service Helper will also have the primary responsibility of being the “face” of the building/department and ensuring all patrons receive a warm and friendly greeting. This Result Oriented Job Description is in conjunction with the job description provided by the Wayne County Civil Service.
